Medicom® SafeGauze® HemoStat™ is a topical hemostatic dressing that controls bleeding during dental procedures, such as extraction and periondontal surgery. This sterile fabric is prepared from chemically treated regenerated cellulose.

When the dressing comes into contact with blood or fluids, it expands and transforms into a clear, viscous gel that fills voids and seals capillary ends to help stop bleeding--no suturing required.
